Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) – EX200
The performance-based exam analyses your capability in the basic administration areas. The talent gained here is the foundation for all other exams. You will become a Red Hat Certified System Administrator by passing this exam.
Who
can attend this exam?
- Individuals after attending the courses Red Hat System Administration I (RH124) and Red Hat System Administration II (RH134)
- Experienced Red Hat system administrators who are willing to upgrade their knowledge.
- An noncurrent RHCE candidate or who are about to be noncurrent and wish to recertify as an RHCE.
Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) – EX294
The performance based exam analyse your capability in managing and maintaining multiple systems using the RedHat Ansible Engine. You will become a RedHat Certified Engineer by passing this exam.
Who can attend this exam?
- Individuals after attending the course Red Hat System Administration III: Linux Automation (RH294)
- Experienced Red Hat system administrators who are willing to upgrade their knowledge.
- Systems administrators who want to demonstrate proficiency in managing multiple systems.
- IT professionals working in DevOps environment and want to demonstrate proficiency in automating part of their workload.
- An noncurrent RHCE candidate or who are to be noncurrent and wish to recertify as an RHCE.
What’s not changing?
An RHCE can still be earned by first passing the Red Hat Certified System Administrator exam (EX200) and then passing the RHCE exam while still current as an RHCSA. Also, the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 based exams will still be available for 1 year after the release of the new exam. This helps the individuals to complete the RHEL7 certification if they prefer.
